      I went to university for 5 years at the University of Nottingham.

    In total I’ve spent 6 years doing my degree in health and social care, certificate in management and accounting module, but all done part-time while working full-time.

    Depends what you want to do! Doctors spend 4, 5 or 6 years (mostly 5). Nurses, radiographers, physiotherapists and a huge range of other professions are usually 3 or 4 years if doing a masters too. As Adrian points out there are many other options, and some jobs like Healthcare Assistants do training other than a degree.

    My initial Nursing degree was 4 years, and then I studied my MSc in my own time over 2 years. I also did a 1 year Post-grad course in adult education and some shorter part-time specialist modules.
